our people make the difference
At eshots, our team members come from an impressive array of backgrounds and organizations. Common across all of our staff is a close association with events—each year our staff are required to work several key events. This commitment and dedication helps us stay close to our clients’ needs and on top of the fast moving pace of change in the event marketing community.
Our Executive Team is representative of the depth and experience of the entire organization.
Craig Steensma, President and Founder
Craig began his career as a successful account executive with PS Promotions and later assumed the responsibility of Vice President of Marketing and Promotions for the Sitour agency. During his tenure, he managed several large client accounts with a specialty around ski-related promotions for Fortune 500 clients.
In 1998, spurred on by a request from one of his largest clients, Craig launched eshots. In its early days, the company focused solely on digital pictures taken at events to be retrieved on the Internet. As the company evolved, Craig recognized the value events played in helping marketers gain insight to event participants’ interests in learning, selecting and buying products.
Craig is a recognized expert in the event marketing space and is a trusted advisor to some of the largest marketers in the world including Lexus, Honda, Ford/Lincoln, Chrysler, General Motors, National Guard, Nike, State Farm and US Air Force. Craig is active in a number of charitable and not-for-profit organizations in the Chicago area. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University.
